The use of our copyright music requires an appropriate licence to be obtained in advance.
Live Performance
Concert performances and broadcasts of our works are licensed in the UK by PRS for Music and its affiliated societies overseas.
Recordings
CD recordings of our repertoire are licensed through the Mechanical-Copyright Protection Society (MCPS), or its affiliated societies overseas.
Hymn texts and tunes
Stainer & Bell belongs to the CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International) schemes. If CCLI operates in your country, you will be able to use our copyright hymns under the terms of their licences.
For permission to use any of our copyright hymns outside the CCLI scheme (e.g. wedding services, commercial reproduction etc.) application can be made to us using this form. Enquiries from the USA or Canada should be directed to Hope Publishing.
