HymnQuest 2006 Specific Questions

After entering my Activation Code, the box reverts to question marks, is this a problem?

No this isn't an error. However, if you are unable to enter the program, you should click the "Back" button and then close HymnQuest. Now when you run HymnQuest the program will be unlocked.

Why does the program tell me I cannot print from the DEMO version even though I have just purchased and entered my new codes?

Sometimes it is necessary to close and restart HymnQuest after entering your Serial Number and Activation Code. The software will then run as normally.

When I copy or print a full text, the italics or bolding does not carry through to my copy. What should I do?

This is a minor bug which can be fixed by the small Update Patch below.

HymnQuest 2006 Update Patch

An update patch is now available to download, which will fix minor issues found with HymnQuest 2006.

Important Note:
This update patch requires HymnQuest 2006 to be already installed and does not work with any previous versions of the software.

REVISIONS
1. Fixes a minor full text printing/copying bug, where bolding and italics are not copied or printed.
2. Improved Activation Code behaviour for Standard Version users.
3. Solves "Welsh" and other Windows regional language errors.

INSTALLATION
1. Make sure HymnQuest 2006 is not running
2. Download the file
3. Run the downloaded file and extract the contents to main folder where HymnQuest is installed (e.g. the default folder is c:\Program Files\HymnQuest)
4. Run HymnQuest 2006
